This is the last day…

In this office. I’ve been in the same physical office for nearly 15 years. After years of accumulation, it now looks positively barren. Beginning next Monday, March 29th, 2010, I’ll be in a new building, new location, and new office. The good thing is that the new place is a mere stone’s throw from the current one. It will be great to leave all the Borland ghosts behind.

  1. A mere stone's throw, for large definitions of mere. Allen's going to be trying out for the Olympics, in shotput. That's a long toss.

It will be closer to good coffee, and food, which is nice. When I'm staying at the Best Western (whoo-hoo!), getting in the car to drive to work would start to feel like a scene from LA Story.

I started out at the Green Hills installation. That will always be some of my fondest memories.

    Onwards and upwards!

  2. :-). Hyperbole at its finest.

I, too, started in the Green Hills installation... I also remember working closely with Eli and Gabor on the 16 and 32bit (DMPI) DOS extenders. I also remember those times fondly as well. I was a much younger, greener, and wide-eyed engineer.
